This month two duo-band OSC filters were used - Ha+Oiii and Sii+Hb - resulting in data from four major emission lines. Combining filters like these allows OSC users to isolate the data from each of the wavelengths and combine them in different ways, creating Hubble-style palettes and the like. The H-beta data available here was particularly interesting, as this allows one to capture subtle magenta colour variations in the hydrogen emission while still using a narrowband approach.
I simply tried to balance the contribution from each of the four ionized gases and blended that with the OSC data, resulting in what I hope is a vibrant yet fairly true colour representation. Thanks for looking
